NISSIN FOODS DO BRASIL LTDA. (President: Takayuki Suzuki, hereafter "the Company"), a subsidiary of NISSIN FOODS HOLDINGS CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director, CEO: Koki Ando) is pleased to announce that the Company has decided to construct a new plant in Ponta Grossa, state of Parana, Brazil. The construction starts in June 2024 and is scheduled to complete in March 2026. This is the third plant to be constructed by the Company, following the Ibiuna Plant in the state of Sao Paulo, which started operation in 1981, and the Gloria do Goita Plant in the state of Pernambuco, which started operation in 2012.

The Company aims to further enhance production capacities for keeping pace with growing demand of instant noodles in Brazil and expanding the product lineup including products for export.

The Nissin Foods Group ("the Group") aims to achieve further growth by targeting its overseas business ratio in core operating income^*1 of approximately 45% in its Mid to Long-term Business Plan announced in May 2021. The Group achieved its target in Fiscal year 2022 and yet, will continuously drive the business throughout the world for further growth.
The Company has been expanding high-quality product portfolio which includes the bestselling^*2 bag-type noodles Nissin Lámen, cup-type noodles CUP NOODLES, NISSIN YAKISSOBA U.F.O. and etc. In the instant noodle market in Brazil, the Company has market share of approximately 70%^*3 and is consolidating its position as a leading company in this category.
The construction of the new plant in Ponta Grossa will lead to further increase in revenues for keeping pace with growing demand of instant noodles in Brazil and expanding the product lineup including products for export.
In addition, the Company will improve production and distribution efficiency through collaboration with the two existing plants and establish stable supply chain across Brazil.
