CUPNOODLES MUSEUM Announces Record Four Millionth Visitor

Yokohama, August 4, 2015 - CUPNOODLES MUSEUM announced its record four millionth visitor today since its opening in September, 2011.
“We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all four million visitors,” said Yukitaka Tsutsui, the museum director. “Thanks to all of them from both Japan and abroad, we could reach this milestone over a period of three years and 11 months.”
The four millionth visitor was Souta Take, an eight-year-old boy, who came from Hiratsuka city, Kanagawa with his family. He was presented a commemorative gift and a voucher for a one-year’s supply of Cup Noodles by Mr. Yukitaka Tsutsui.

The museum has been dedicated to fostering the creativity within every child by telling them the importance of invention and discovery, which is to embody the will of Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant noodles.

ABOUT CUPNOODLES MUSEUM

CUPNOODLES MUSEUM was opened in September, 2011 to commemorate Momofuku Ando (1910-2007), the founder of Nissin Food Products and the inventor of the world’s first instant noodles that revolutionized food culture all over the world. Through the many interactive exhibits and workshops, the museum introduces the Momofuku’s creative thinking that inspired him to come up with new ideas and gives some hints of invention and discovery that exist in all sorts of places. By seeing, touching, playing, and eating, visitors can enjoy gathering the knowledge of instant noodles.
