NISSIN YILDIZ Supplies 140,000 Servings of Instant Noodles to Earthquake Victims in Iran and Iraq

NISSIN YILDIZ GIDA SANAYI VE TICARET A.S. (Managing Director: Hidefumi Kawakita, hereafter "NISSIN YILDIZ") in Turkey, a subsidiary of NISSIN FOODS HOLDINGS CO., LTD. (President and Representative Director, CEO: Koki Ando) has supplied 100,000 servings of instant noodles to victims affected by the November 12 earthquake that hit Iran and Iraq in a joint relief effort with World Instant Noodles Association (WINA). NISSIN YILDIZ itself has provided 40,000 servings. A total of 140,000 servings have been supplied via the Red Crescent Societies*.

World Instant Noodles Association (WINA) was founded in 1997, for the purpose to improve the quality of instant noodle products, to promote the consumption and the industry's development, and to contribute to the diet of people all over the world. WINA is a world-wide industry association comprising 153 companies/organizations from 25 different countries/regions. At the 6th World Instant Noodles Summit Osaka in 2008, the association established the "WINA Disaster Relief Fund". WINA has been actively engaged in food relief efforts since then.
