NISSIN FOODS Group Basic Policy on Occupational Health and Safety
The NISSIN FOODS Group understands that it is important to ensure the health and safety of our employees and our stakeholders who work in the same workplaces, including employees of contractors, employees of temporary staffing companies, suppliers, construction workers, and visitors. We set out this policy with the aim of providing a safe and comfortable work environment for all workers.
1. Compliance with Laws, Regulations and Internal Standards
The NISSIN FOODS Group will comply with laws, regulations, and other requirements, including internal standards, related to occupational health and safety in workplaces and further strive to implement occupational health and safety management.
2. Continuous Improvements for Prevention of Occupational Injuries
The NISSIN FOODS Group will take appropriate actions in accordance with the occupational health and safety management system. We will identify, evaluate and prioritize hazard sources and their impact on occupational health and safety in workplaces. We will then establish plans to remove or reduce the hazard sources, and carry out continuous improvements.
3. Ensuring of Mental and Physical Health and Safety and Creation Providing a Comfortable Work Environment
The NISSIN FOODS Group will make firm efforts to prevent occupational injuries, to ensure health and safety and to create a comfortable work environment.
4. Health and Safety Education for Raising Awarenes
The NISSIN FOODS Group will regularly conduct health and safety education and training to prevent occupational injuries, raise risk awareness, and deepen understanding of safe operation methods.
5. Enhancement in Communication
The NISSIN FOODS Group will disseminate information on occupational health and safety, and actively receive opinions and suggestions through dialogues with workers to carry out occupational health and safety activities.
